MB’s 3-in-1 Brush Cleaning First Aid ADD-ON KIT: PROTECTION PAINT BRUSH SOAP

THIS ADD-ON ITEM TO THE 3-IN-1 BRUSH CLEANING KIT INCLUDES:

• 1 - 2 oz jar Melanie B’s Protection Paint Brush Soap with Light Citrus Scent

Although it was originally sold in the “Melanie B’s 3-in-1 Paint Brush Cleaning Kit”, after many requests, she has finally made it available as a single purchase item to replace the one in your original kit, or to have individually.

Melanie invented this special paint brush soap after months of testing to find the best ingredients to care specifically for paint brush bristles…whether they be synthetic or natural. It is designed to 1) thoroughly clean your brushes, 2) condition the bristles, 3) and most importantly, PROTECT them for fraying while they are being stored.

The soap should be Step 3 in your paint brush cleaning process, so by the time you get to this step, the paint left in your brush should be minimal.

FOR CLEANING:

Wet your brush and add a TINY AMOUNT of water to the surface of the “Protection Soap”. Get some soap between the bristles and around the ferrule. Using your fingers or the palm of your hand, gently swirl the soap into the bristles to remove the existing paint.

FOR PROTECTION:

After removing all of the residual paint, wet your brush and add a TINY AMOUNT of water to the surface of the “Protection Soap”. Using your fingers, reshape the bristles into the desired point and allow to dry completely laying flat or storing upright. *DO NOT RINSE OFF THE CONDITIONING AGENT. This residue adds a layer of PROTECTION to your bristles until your next painting session. Before you paint, be sure to rinse the brush completely to remove all of the conditioner from the brush.
