PREORDER ITEM: This set is a 100% HANDMADE item from the paints that I had hand-mix to the jars being hand-labeled and handpainted swatches that go on the top. Every mm of packaging is made by me. Please be patient while I work to fulfill orders that contain Perfect Paint Collections. 
This collection includes 14 - 6ml jars of Melanie B's handmade, acrylic "Perfect Paint" with the perfect "3 Shades of Gray" for using under those difficult transparent, translucent, streaky or pesky paints. • THE CONCEPTION: Melanie B's biggest complaint from viewers and fellow paint by number enthusiasts is the lack of opaque paints that come in kits, and one thing we desperately need for our art {besides amazing paint brushes} is opaque paints. The idea of "PERFECT PAINTS" was conceived from reading about so many of your struggles and dealing with her own for over 5 years of experience. 
After six months of researching and testing various brands of acrylic paints, pigments & binders, Melanie learned so much about the pigments that make up these paints.

Great Solution for Transparent Paints

I used to struggle so with transparent paints. Before learning about priming, I would put up to four coats on certain colors that simply would not cover either the canvas or the underlying numbers and lines. Once I learned about priming, I fought with all manner of black and white paint combinations to try to create the right shades of grey. I spent as much time mixing and trialing my primer as I did applying multiple coats of transparent paints. All I've done so far with these paints is swatch, but they already have helped me so much. First, THEY WORK! I can completely cover a black Sharpie with a single coat. Second, Melanie provides a generous amount of paint in this kit, ready to use, no trial and error. Third, working with them has helped me understand what a good consistency is for the paints I receive with my PBN kits. I have a much better idea of when paint conditioner is needed and how much to add. Combined with Melanie's swatching techniques, these primer paints have set me up to enjoy my PBN experience without frustration.

I’m using this paint to prime all the transparent colors on my painting. It works great! Smooth texture. Good way to cover numbers. Came in a cute compact container. I love it. ❤️

This kit makes dealing with transparent, translucent or streaky paints so much easier - just match the paint you are struggling with to the right primer, lay a base coat and go! I love it; it has made my painting so much more enjoyable. Melanie is a genius.
